If you needed more proof that Steve and Dirk are "more than friends", I'm pretty sure Nash has his hand a place that could get him suspended, at least for a game. This is from last year's playoffs (their first year of separation) so I guess Nash decided he wasn't going let one pair of shorts and a stadium filled with 20000+ poeple keep him away from his old friend.

My job hosted a festival of sorts over the weekend and in the spirit of inefficiency, they said it would take all week and the following weekend for them to break down the festival and all its props. Fine with me. I asked of them only one thing. By Monday morning, when we return to work, please have moved the porta shitters because they will have a weekend's worth of shit in them and I really don't want the smell wafting around. But alas, I arrived this morning to find the shitters still in place. Thanks job.

Don't fence me in.

As you know, the US has decided to build a fence obstensibly to keep out Mexicans. It is a really good way for the country to waste money and worsen the already strained international relations, but I really thought we had that covered with the whole Iraq thing so what could be the real reason for the fence? hmmm. I know the goal isn't to actually keep out Mexicans because judging from the recent actions of US authorities, we definitely do not want them to leave. Yesterday, the border between San Diego and TJ was closed for nine hours after "federal authorities" (don't know to whom that moniker specifically refers)shot and killed the driver of an SUV filled with potentially undocumented Mexicans trying to return to Mexico. The federal pigs attempted to pull them over but they kept going headed toward the bridge. The driver was unarmed so of course the pigs had no choice but to kill him. I mean seriously, when someone without a gun tries to bring undocumented Mexicans back to Mexico, the pigs can't just sit idly by.

First, I'd like to welcome the reader from the senate sargeant at arms. If you're wondering what / who that is, I don't know. But they have read my blog. I feel so special. Now on to our bushes, and I am of course referring to the Kennedys who are the Bushes of the Democratic party. Or really, the Bushes are the Kennedys of the Republican party. As it turns out, despite the "Kennedy curse" Ted K can't die. Lightning struck his plane and they lost all power and had to land with no help from air traffic control yet no harm came to Ted. I guess the universe is overcompensating for killing every one else in the family. Ted, glad you're still with us, now please get back to work on the minimum wage thing.

There is a guy named Pete who lives down the way outside of 7-11, although on a rainy day you will often find him next door to the 7-11 at the Hasty where the awning is more favorable in such weather conditions. Here is how my amigo Bob describes Pete and his buddies from the hood.


Our gentlemen of trasient employment and dubious mental health are some of the most courteous in the metroplex. Why just the other day I saw pete block one nostril to launch a stream of snot out of the other nostril and then ground the mucus into the parking lot with his boot heel lest some southern belle who prefers to ambulate shoeless should slip and fall on his gelatinous glob of pulmonary mucus.
