America, fuck yeah!!!

To anyone reading this post, I need to apologize in advance for the couple minutes you are about to waste reading this completely stupid idea going around in email. But don't worry, there is a saving grace - my comments in blue.


RED FRIDAYS
Very soon, you will see a great many people wearing Red every Friday. The reason?
Americans who support our troops used to be called the "silent majority". (Seriously? Americans who support the troops have been called the silent majority? Because supporting the troops is just so controversial people are compelled to stay silent. That's why those yellow "Support our Troops" ribbon magnets for the car never took off.) We are no longer silent, and are voicing our love for God, country and home in record breaking numbers. We are not organized, boisterous or over-bearing. (Did they really just say they were voicing their love for God in the same sentence that they claimed not to be organized, overbearing or boisterous. Has the writer of this appeal ever met a churcher?)We get no liberal media coverage on TV, to reflect our message or our opinions. Our idea of showing solidarity and support for our troops with dignity and respect starts this Friday -and continues each and every Friday until the troops all come home, sending a deafening message that..

Every red-blooded American who supports our men and women afar, will wear something red. By word of mouth, press, TV (but I thought this wouldn't get any media coverage)-- let's make the United States on every Friday a sea of red much like a homecoming football game in the bleachers. (Yes, what this country really needs is for us to treat the troops more like high school football players? Do the troops not already do enough raping on their own?)

If every one of us who loves this country will share this with acquaintances, co-workers, friends, and family. (incomplete sentence)It will not be long before the USA is covered in RED and it will let our troops know the once "silent" majority is on their side more than ever, certainly more than the media lets on. All we hear from the news media is doom and gloom. They don't report the positive, productive and appreciated advantages that have been won in foreign lands by the efforts of American soldiers. Its called the news, dumb fucks!!! It isn't supposed to leave you warm and fuzzy. It is supposed to tell you what is going on. Hospitals, schools, jobs, the rights that so many of us take for granted. (I for one think these people should be a little more appreciative of the fact that their country is under foreign occupation.) The first thing a soldier says when asked "What can we do to make things better for you?" is...We need your support and your prayers. (If by support and prayers you mean porn and booze, then I agree. Those are the first things the troops ask for when we offer to make things better.)

Let's let everyone in the world know that we support our troops (regardless of our politics); and wear something red every Friday. WE LIVE IN THE LAND OF THE FREE, ONLY BECAUSE OF THE BRAVE. WE ALL KNOW, FREEDOM IS NOT FREE. (Hey I recognize that song from America World Police!!)
