I saw a clip of British Parliament recently, and when Tony Blair took the podium almost everyone there greeted him with a loud "yo", W style.

And speaking of the British, I have a coworker who pretends intermittenly to be British. Now if she read this her interpretation would be that I am comparing her to Madonna because she is delusional like that. I offer two examples of her act. The word privacy she pronounces like PRIV - e - see (short i in priv, long e is see). And the word finance she pronounces fin-ohnce. Or fin aunce (short i in fin).
