The correct spelling is either "marquee" or "marquise" (which would be pronounced "mar keez").
Unless you are speaking of the Marquis of Kneemail and Dropthigh, an old friend of mine from my days in Indja.
I was being tongue in cheek. Just kidding. Thanks. And just an update, now the marquee says "Hang in there, even moases was once a basket case" They'll probably change it fairly soon because it really doesn't exude the requisite amount of hate for them.
